KEY CONCEPT IDEA
The Resort Complex will be developed at 114.679,70 sq.m. It will comprise a 5*+ Hotel, branded villas, two Spa Facilities, and an agricultural development to produce high-quality biological culture products for the Resort’s F&B facilities. The buildings main use area is 43,392m2.
The proposal’s basic principle was to integrate structures, buildings, and configurations into the sensitive seaside natural environment, similar to developing by-the-sea settlements and villages in Greece. Essentially, the buildings, constructions, and landscaping were designed to create—through the architectural composition— an anthropogenic environment, a homely landscape. The desired inclusion was not limited to purely morphological manipulations but was based on the functional link between the building program, its orientation, and the existing flora. In this way, the design proposal concluded with an effective functional connection between the constructions and the natural landscape.
